In reply to your letter of 21st June last, I am

directed to acquaint you that it is possible that the increased

requirements of the Navy may render it necessary for the Naval Authorities to somewhat restrict the use of their Range hitherto

accorded to your Association. It is not certain that the neces- sity will arise, and they are prepared to permit your Association to continue to use their Range but subject to Naval requirements.

In order to prevent any possible inconvenience to your Association, the Captain Superintendent of Folice will place himself in communication with you with a view to giving it the occasional use of the Police Range, if necessary.

I have etc.,

(Sd.). G.T.M.C'Brien.
